A taste of greatness

Red carpet was a project which I did during my last semester at the University of Technology Mauritius. It was for the module of visual identity in which we had to create a fictional brand. The assignment consist of formulating a name for the brand and then design it’s visual elements.

Concept

Targeting the high class category

The name was chosen red carpet to represent the high class and sophistication of the brand. A visual of the logo the name is literally represented in the logo icon as a red rectangle that is put in a vertical format to represent a red carpet. The colour red was chosen to be directly link with the name and the black colour to show sophistication. The font is a serif one which also reflect high class category. There is also a cake icon a very minimalist icon to represent simplicity and elegance.

The brand is about a pastry and it services consist of pastries you can either pre-order a cake from the list of available cake but you can also send a design you want we will bake it for you and event propose to improve your chosen cake design. Ready-made cake are also available at the shop along with our special coffee which we give as a gift (small cup only).
